Want to improve your health and fitness? Start setting goals. Goals help keep us motivated and on task. I love the way that Wikipedia defines goal-setting, "establishing specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-targeted (S.M.A.R.T) goals."

Start by setting a goal that can easily be achieved within 2-3 months. Having some short-term success will not only build your confidence but it will keep you motivated to push yourself forward.
